1. Be respectful.
No harassment, insults, hate speech, or threats. Disagree thoughtfully, or don’t engage.
2. Stay on topic.
Keep your posts relevant to the thread. Off-topic posts may be moved or removed.
3. No spam or unsolicited promotion.
This includes ads, self-promo, and random link drops. If it’s not part of the conversation, don’t post it.
4. Use sources when you can.
If you make a claim—especially a bold one—offer context. Share links, name books, give breadcrumbs.
5. Avoid harmful content.
No dangerous health advice, illegal activity, or intentionally misleading posts.
6. One account per person.
No sock puppets, no alt accounts. One voice is enough.
7. No doxxing or personal info.
Never post identifying info about yourself or anyone else. This includes names, photos, locations, etc.
8. Respect thread boundaries.
Some threads have special rules or tones. Read the original post before diving in.
9. Don’t impersonate others.
That includes users, staff, “experts,” or institutions. Not even ironically.
10. Edits are logged.
You can edit your posts—but moderators see the full history. Choose your words wisely.
11. Images must add value.
No irrelevant memes, low-effort dumps, or shock content. Visuals should support the conversation.
12. Respect multilingual threads.
All languages are welcome. Don’t ridicule, correct, or tone-police users for how they express themselves.
13. If someone sets a boundary, respect it.
Whether it’s a mod or a fellow user, “stop” means stop.
14. Do not reference locked threads.
Threads marked by staff as closed or archived are not to be reopened, quoted, or mimicked.
15. Don’t PM staff with riddles.
We appreciate creativity, but moderation is not a puzzle. Be direct when asking for help.
16. The forum remembers.
No harassment, insults, hate speech, or threats. Disagree thoughtfully, or don’t engage.
